This Is My Country | Ijeoma Mbah

Welcome to my country,

Where farmers get killed

Prices get hyped, and we cook without onions

Gunmen get free entry,

But youths get barred.

Welcome to my country

Students get nabbed

Bandits roam free

Cows are supreme

Human life is worthless!

Welcome to my country

A place where dreams turn to ashes

Abnormality becomes the new norm

Our salaries get slashes

Our naira, a toilet paper.

What a sick country!
